Echeveria agavoides known as Crested Molded Wax Agave. It is native to rocky and higher elevations areas of Mexico, notably the states of San Luis Potosi, also some species found from as far north as southern Texas and several species occurring as far south as Bolivia, Peru and possibly Argentina. It is a small, succulent stemless plant, 9 – 18 cm (below 1 ft) tall and 15 – 30 cm span. This is a star-shaped rosette of fat leaves up to 30 cm in diameter and leaves are dark green with deep red edge (tips) and some forms have slightly red to very red margins. A full plant looks like a water lily. It is often solitary, but old plants in good condition grow offsets. E. agavoides blooms Red and Yellow flowers in spring-summer. This is a relatively common species, and quite fast for an Echeveria. It has also been widely used in hybridizing. People like it very much to decorate their room.
